Does the Nulcearis N1 reactor require refueling?
The Nulcearis N1 does not require any refueling over the operational lifetime of 20 years with an output of 17 MWe Electrical Capacity.
What are the innovations for the nuclear waste from the Nuclearis N1?
Fuel rods are highly radioactive and produce heat due to ongoing radioactive decay. After its operational life, the N1 will undergo a period of 20 years for the initial cooling of the spent fuel before transitioning to a vertical dry storage spent fuel silo, for more then 100 years before moving the materials to a long-term storage.
What is the manufacturing time for the Nuclearis N1?
The N1 reactors are 100% gigafactory-built in an assembly line taking 12 months per unit, significantly mitigating project risks and reducing deployment time from 6-10 years to just one year. Utilizing standardized commercial components that can be transported by truck and deployed directly on-site, we ensure delivery certainty and operational efficiency.
